The Limited-Edition Craft Series brings together the weavers’ most loved patterns and palettes, thoughtfully handcrafted in small editions. Each design is a unique work of art, created in a numbered series by collectives of 10 to 15 weavers. 

The 2 Needle Design tells the story of two orphans, a brother and sister. The brother told his sister to go and spy on the village women to see how they weave. The sister did just that and taught herself the craft of Bilum.
This Bilum is handwoven from acrylic and wool yarn as well as upcycled knitwear using traditional weaving techniques. 
This purse is lined and features a frame closure and internal pocket.

Weaver Details:

Deli is an artisan weaver based in Goroka. She created this Bilum design by hand over six weeks. Deli is part of the Goroka collective of weavers led by Florence or Bilum Meri,who is aggregator and brand cultural advisor. Florence has been vital to the success of Among Equals since its founding and is fiercely passionate about building a platform for the weavers. "I am strong for the weavers, I see them as sisters. These women now have the strength to stand up and be their own trader. It is a business for them, too, and that is very empowering."
