The Limited-Edition Craft Series brings together the weavers’ most loved patterns and palettes, thoughtfully handcrafted in small editions. Each design is a unique work of art, created in a numbered series by collectives of 10 to 15 weavers. 

The Half Diamond is a traditional pattern associated with a young woman’s journey into adulthood. A girl would weave this design when she reaches the age of womanhood.
This Bilum is handwoven from acrylic and wool yarn as well as up-cycled knitwear using traditional weaving techniques.
This purse is lined and features a frame closure and internal pocket.

Weaver Details:

Yafe Kamaya is 50 years old and is from Yagana Village in Okapa. She did not attend any school, no educational background. She has 3 children, 1st born is a male married with 1 child, 2nd born is in school grade 8 and 3rd born in prep school. She does not recall their ages. She does Bilum weaving to support herself. A little side table market.
